As you step inside Bayberry Beer Hall, the lush greenery, warm lighting and airiness of the space says come in and sit down, love. I walked into the friendly neighborhood spot immediately impressed with three things. How pretty it was, how seriously they took safety and how clean and spacious everything looked. With seating outside, socially distant picnic tables inside, stools at the bar and a few intimate spots tucked in the corners of the restaurant, the hall works well for small groups and individuals.

Before you can even sit down, the host asks you all the COVID-19 questions (which I appreciated). She asks whether you have the virus, whether you’ve been around anyone who has and if you’ve traveled within the last 14 days. A no to all questions earns you a seat at the table (literally) and as you’re being led to yours, a 360 view of the place shows off an exposed brick and beautiful wood aesthetic. Gosh! I’d live here if I could!
what’s on the menu
For brunch, the menu is several pages worth of beer options, with one page dedicated to food– small plates, handhelds and main courses. If you’re indecisive like me, you’ll appreciate that the food selection isn’t overwhelming. Ironically, I didn’t try the beer. That was by mistake though lol. I was too busy trying to order a cute, fruity drink, that I forgot where I was. A freakin’ BEER HALL! I did however get my hands on a really refreshing cider that I think you’ll love if hops aren’t your thing.
a total vibe
This breezy neighborhood spot makes for a great place to catch up with friends or to enjoy solo without making you wonder, “are people watching me awkwardly eat alone?” The answer is no or no one cares lol. Everyone is super laid back and chill. No one is pushing you to hurry up so they can seat the next group– which I love. It’s the little things ya know.
